Bree has had enough of over-protective brothers and a meddling father, so she decides to run to a small town, where she can prove she can make it on her own. The only thing wrong with that situation is there’s a stalker after her, determined to make her his – or else end her life.

George hires Chad, Mark’s best friend and ex-Navy Seal to guard Bree. She is furious about her father sending her a babysitter.

Bree Anderson is so tired of all of the over protective alpha males in her life. And she is not just talking about her dad and brothers, now that they have moved closer to the rest of the family it is her uncle and cousins too. The seem to think she is still a teenager. She is the oldest 28-year-old virgin she knows. Every time she starts to date her brothers run them off. If she does not get away she is going to die an old maid.

George and Joseph work on fixing her up with an old family friend of their kids that they think would be perfect for Bree. She decides that the night she is summoned to a party it is time to leave town.

She is determined to do things on her own and not use her trust fund. She gets a job and a small little house. She is sheltered from all of the threats that come her way from being a member of her family. She does not know the real threat that is going on around her.

After the party the next week the Anderson’s summon Chad over to talk. They was him to be Bree’s bodyguard. Her brothers are not happy with it but they back down. Chad is not happy about it but he would do anything for this family.

Bree is furious with her family for hiring Chad but he is not bad to look at. Lets just say electricity is passing back and forth between the two. Chad fights it until he can’t fight it anymore.

When they get to her house after finding out he is going to be her bodyguard, she walks into her house seeing that someone had broken in. Chad knows right then that this is a real threat. They fight their attraction as much as they can but they give in, well almost. There is a knock on the door.

Bree, is being stalked and they try everything to get her. When they do, Chad is on it, well after he gets his arm patched up from a bullet wound. He does just what Joseph says and goes and gets his woman back.

Bree is injured and when she wakes up after two months in a coma she learns she has amnesia and that she is pregnant. One of her brothers friends is not happy to hear about her pregnancy when he finds out.

They continue to fight off the stalkers attempts of kidnapping her. Even though they are getting shot at in their home. One day Bree can’t take it anymore and walks to the pond on their property and while she is asleep she has a bad dream about Chad, when she wakes up she realizes it was not a dream and her memory comes back. Before she could tell Chad she wanted to play around with him for a bit. But their playing around got cut short when they got a phone call George was in the hospital.

They rush to the hospital and after she sees her dad she needed some air. Even though she knew she shouldn’t be without someone with her she does it anyway. That was a bad idea on her part.
