Book Review: So Good (Love on the Vine, Book 1) By: Darcy Burke

This is another series from Ribbon Ridge. I hope you follow me on this journey, not sure how many books are going to be in this series. Just one book is out right now, with the second releasing on Feb. 14, 2017.

So Good

Love on the Vine, Book 1

By: Darcy Burke

Cameron Westcott has spent eight years recovering from heartbreak by keeping romantic entanglements casual and simple. He’s never minded being called a manwhore, but after two years immersing himself in his new winery, he might be ready for the next chapter. Especially when he meets a sexy wine distributor—only she says she isn’t interested.

Following a bitter divorce, Brooke Ellis relocated to Ribbon Ridge to rebuild her life. Things will never be the same for her, and she’s coming to terms with that reality when she meets charming, persistent Cam. She can’t imagine a happy ever after given his reputation, but he makes her feel so good.

As the sparks between them intensify, they’re both hesitant to commit for very different reasons. Or are they really just sabotaging their own futures? If they can trust each other—and themselves—they may realize that what they share is too good to let slip away.

Man what a book. This series is starting out just as good as Ribbon Ridge did. If you have not read those books, I encourage you to read them, it will fill in a lot of gaps on who some of these people are.

Both Cam and Brooke have been hurt in the worst way when it comes to love. Cam has walled himself off for over eight years and never intended to let anyone else in. Brooke had received the worst news any female could ever hear and decided that she could not let herself get close to another man who might end up leaving her Little did they know that the heart wants what it wants.

They learned over their flirting that something was building between them, but Brooke still had not come clean to Cam, instead of coming clean and giving him a chance to prove her wrong she lied to him and broke it off. What she didn’t know was that lying to him was the worst thing she could have done, and it hurt him more than he wanted to admit.

After he cooled down he decided to do some research on her problem and he listened to what his brother’s and best friend said and decided he wanted her in his life. So he set out to make that happen. She never knew she could find someone to love her, not in the way she wanted anyway, but she might just be wrong about that.

What happens to Cam and Brooke?

Do they get their happily ever after, or is she still afraid he can’t love her fully?
