Omg I don’t know if this book could get better but it seems to get even better than the last. Most of this book was focused in Nevertide. There are some dark things going on and Benedict is in a lot of trouble. He seems to be completely in the entities control well at night at least. During the day he seems to be himself. I feel so sorry for him that I want to go into the book and pull him away from the evil spirit myself. Ruby got into a bit of a mess, but in doing so she was able to find Julian which I was happy about and I really hope he is able to recover. He would not of lasted much longer in that evil bitches dungeon. Also with Ruby getting in trouble Ash was able to see that she was right about the evil bitch. I hope Tejus does end up killing her but towards the end of the book it looks like he might have more on his hands than he bargained for.

This book was very exciting for me to read. There was a lot going on and I think that the members of the Shade that are looking for the kids are onto something. Or at least I hope they are. I really hope they get there in time to stop the darkness that is happening and also kill the evil bitch if Tejus doesn’t do it.

I am starting to think that Sherus is experiencing what is going on in Nevertide as well and it is going to affect more than just Nevertide. That is what it is looking like and I hope they are able to stop it before it grows any stronger.

I was so proud of Tejus in finally admitting his feeling for Hazel and giving up the throne. Even though what happened towards the end might upset him I don’t think it will ruin what is going on with him and Hazel. At least I hope it doesn’t. I really, really want to see them together. I also want them both to leave Nevertide and go back to the Shade to live a happy life. I also want that for Ash and Ruby. And believe it or not I know Benedict and Julian are just kids but I think Jenny and Yelena will be good for them. We shall see.

And because I am in love. I am completely, impossibly in love with a human. She has torn away the very foundations of my belief, and I no longer wish to be the man I was. I want her to be mine, without having to change who she is- because she is my better. My superior in every single way imaginable.

Things get hot and heavy with Tejus and Hazel after he makes that realization to himself. Something happens that he is his worst fear, I am  not sure what is going to happen, but I really hope this does not tear them apart but brings them closer together and that they both leave Nevertide and go to the Shade. That is my wish for the two of them. I will not tell you what happened. I want you to read the book for yourself.
